NEW CONSTRUCTION ACT BRINGS IN ORAL CONTRACTS

The new Construction Act makes it possible for oral agreements to form binding contracts. The FMB is concerned that an increase in acrimonious disputes will follow with claims that a builder has agreed to something he hasn't but may not be able to prove it.
