Tim Drayton was elected as Regional Chairman in March at the Eastern Region AGM.
Tim started his career in construction as an apprentice bricklayer in the early 90s and set up TJD Building Contractors in 2002 successfully growing the company to what it is today. TJD was a regional category winner in the FMB Master Builder of the Year in 2008 and achieved a worthy Highly Commended in 2010.
Tim is getting to grips with his new role and noted that we have some vacancies on our council. The council oversees how the regional office operates and discusses local and regional matters that are of concern to members. Eastern region needs to be represented locally and regionally on any construction issues and you can help to make a difference.

A very happy birthday goes to Brian Lewis from Northampton Branch who was 80 in May. Brian has been an FMB member for a number of years and maintains a strong voice at the council meetings.
