Regional Director Barry Oliver says that many FMB members are not displaying the FMB badge effectively on their vehicles.
Mainly builders show the van logos when they join but as they renew their vehicles over the years the badge does not get replaced. To rectify this, members in the region can make an appointment at a local builders’ merchant and get the badge put on FREE of charge.
Once a month there will be a ‘Spot the Badge’ competition, with a free hand tool supplied by the merchant as a prize.
At the end of the initiative, all participating members will go into a draw and the winner will receive a year’s FREE subscription to the FMB.
Barry said: “We know from our surveys that members are proud of their association with FMB and we are certainly proud of them so this is a way to cement the relationship.
“We expect to run this initiative until October this year so get in touch with the Regional office and we will let you have the details of your nearest depot.
“We are indebted to J T Dove for helping us with this initiative.”
