Brian Bethell passed away on Sunday 19 December 2010 aged 78.
Brian joined the Federation in 1974 and held every Regional honour cumulating in Regional President in 1996. FMB Northern Regional Director, Barry Oliver pays tribute to Brian here:
Brian Bethell was a true Federation man and the news of his death is a great sadness to us all. Brian was a one off, his dry sense of humour lightened many a moment at FMB events. In short Brian was a great pal to me and I know that was the case with everybody he met.
I always asked him to accompany me on Master Builder of the Year visits because as well as having a keen eye for workmanship he could put customers at ease very quickly and that was one his greatest gifts.
He will be sadly missed by everybody and our thoughts go out to Pam and his family.
