Title
IF YOU HAD A LITTLE HELP, WOULD YOU TAKE ON AN APPRENTICE?
Article
The procedure for training the next generation of tradespeople relies heavily on a company employing an apprentice for the duration of their training, to enable sufficient experience to be gained for them to achieve their NVQs.

Acknowledging that this level of commitment has become difficult in these current times, Constructing the Future Lancashire (CtFL) aims to take away some of the burdens. Briefly, the apprentice would be employed by CtFL and placements with a ‘host’ contractor can be for as little as three months and there is no long-term commitment to guaranteeing employment upon completion of the apprenticeship.
