FMB member, Greendale Construction has come a long way since Directors Rob Hooker and Chris Kane set up their construction company, in the middle of a recession in the spare bedroom of Rob's flat in Poole in 1990.
Twenty years later, Greendale Construction employs 50 staff including six apprentices. Since 1990 Greendale has built its reputation on the quality of its work, its workforce, its business relationships and in delivering projects on budget and on time.
Director Rob Hooker says, "Despite the economic downturn Greendale has maintained its current workforce and has a healthy order book. Reaching our 20th birthday was a proud moment and it was great to share our celebrations with colleagues and friends who have supported us."
Director Chris Kane goes on to say, "Greendale is proud to be one of the few companies across the UK and the only construction company in the South West to have been awarded the Silver Investors in People standard, this would have been impossible to achieve without the dedication of our valued team."
