Poole-based FMB member Greendale Construction, has recently completed a multi-million pound refurbishment of the Hotel Du Vin (formerly the Mansion House Hotel), in Thames Street, Poole. The hotel is a stones throw from Poole Harbour, a popular stopping-off point for yachts and cruisers, and now has 38 bedrooms as well as event rooms and a bistro. The refurbishment included installation of a comfortable ‘bothy lodge’ in the courtyard area for those wishing to enjoy a cigar outside in comfort!
The Grade II Listed building was originally Poole’s mayoral house, dating back to the 1780s, and required sensitive restoration.
