The FMB South West Region supported the Bristol Green Doors 'Open-Homes' event during September, in Bristol, showcasing a range of no-cost to high-cost measures to reduce domestic energy consumption and promote low-carbon living. The aim of the event was to learn fi rst-hand how to make a home more self-sufficient, dramatically lower energy bills and reduce carbon emissions. Also, to find out more about insulation, sash window refurbishment, draft proofing, the generation of power and more within the home.
