Event Title
Lean Construction Workshops – Free Workshops
Description
The Welsh Government’s Supplier Development Service are organising Lean Construction Workshops for large and small companies in Mid Wales; as many have expressed an interest in gaining a better understanding of lean and how it applies to their own business.
By adopting a lean thinking approach and rigorously applying tools and techniques, companies are able to deliver enhanced value to their customer’s whilst at the same time removing waste from their processes, increasing productivity, reducing defects and improving the performance of their supply chains. Lean thinking is looking to make our industry safer, faster, cheaper, better and more sustainable.
The interactive workshop will demonstrate in a practical way the basic principles of lean thinking, how it can be applied in construction and maintenance activities and will provide some case studies of companies large and small that have successfully implemented projects.
