Affiliate Members

An FMB Affiliate company is one that has been trading for fewer than twelve months but has public liability insurance and/or employee liability insurance if applicable.
References for jobs completed are submitted on an on-going basis in the first year to ensure client satisfaction as the FMB Affiliate company strives to achieve full FMB membership status.
At the end of the membership period references are reviewed to ensure the FMB Affiliate company meets the standards expected of an FMB member before being allowed to apply for full FMB membership.

Can offer MasterBond insurance
Have signed the TrustMark license
Have an inspection on a job that is in progress
Verified no un-discharged bankruptcies or relevant and outstanding County Court Judgments
Have a minimum three year trading history and provide three years accounts
Have passed credit checks, public record and director checks
Have a minimum of twelve months trading
Six references including one from a 'professional' or the LABC
Public and employer liability insurance (if applicable)
VAT registration (if applicable)
Confirmation of business address/details
Covered by Dispute Resolution and Complaints Procedure
Have signed the FMB Code of Practice
