Asbestos awareness

Every employer in the building industry has a legal obligation to provide training to employees who are likely to be exposed to asbestos. Not only does this training save lives; it also protects you from future legal claims against you. The highest risk groups are those involved in the refurbishment, repair or maintenance of buildings, particularly carpenters, plumbers, electricians, gas fitters and general building workers.
