Building craft skills

National Heritage Training Group

The NHTG, supported by the CITB, Historic England and Historic Scotland is a voluntary organisation responsible for co-ordinating the ongoing development and delivery of traditional building crafts training and qualifications in the heritage sector of the UK.

The organisation supports Built Environment Federations and their members to encourage and improve access to specialist traditional building skills training, in addition to identifying training needs and developing new training solutions with appropriate bodies such as the sector skills council, CITB.
