The FMB MasterBond scheme is operated by the National Register of Warranted Builders (FMB) Ltd (NRWB), a subsidiary of the Federation of Master Builders.

The NRWB is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

The MasterBond warranty is underwritten by Guarantee Protection Insurance Ltd and administered by NRWB.

The National Register of Warranted Builders (FMB) Ltd (hereinafter called "NRWB") is part of the FMB - but it is a separate and distinct legal entity. The NRWB at all times administers the MasterBond insurance scheme as agents for and on behalf of and under the express direction of the insurer named in the MasterBond insurance policy documents. Consequently any court proceedings, if any, arising under the MasterBond insurance policy should be issued against the named insurer and not against (a) the NRWB and /or (b) any other part of the FMB.
