Best Practice in Converting Lofts

A dedicated workshop for London's loft convertors with a focus on delivering best practice. The workshop will include an update on changes to Planning Laws.
This workshop is an exploration of Best Practice in the loft sector, Velux will be exploring matters from an installation and technical prospective and Andrew Gibbons of MRM Solutions will look more into the builder client relationship and how to maximise opportunities and limit the likelihood of problems. He will also focus on how to incorporate the new Loft Group Resources into your business to achieve maximum results.
Jeff Atkins has been instrumental in the recent successful lobbying of the Government White Paper on Planning and will present on the opportunities available to loft convertors and some of the possible limitations as the legislation is brought into effect in October.

Asbestos Awareness: Common Pitfalls

It is estimated that 120,000 people will die in the UK over the next 10 years from Asbestos related illness. The Building Trade is high risk.From October 2006 under the Control of Asbestos Regulations it is a requirement for any person whose work involves disturbing the fabric or services of a building to undertake Asbestos Awareness Training.
This course helps you and your staff to comply with this responsibility and may save lives. We strongly urge you to attend and to bring members of your team who are at risk. Certificates will be provided to all delegates.
