Common Minimum Technical Competences

The documents available on this page are the Common Minimum Technical Competence Annexes (CMTC) for building fabric related types of work and building services engineering types of work. Each CMTC includes details of the available routes to demonstrating the required competence.

CMTC Annexes are developed from the relevant National Occupational Standards in conjunction with each industry certification scheme and in conjunction with the relevant Sector Skills Council.
