“Distinction Property Services Ltd recently won an award for Master Builder of The Year. Therefore, it is extremely important for us to choose the right tradesmen to follow the Distinction ethos.
“We could not have wished for a better Apprentice with Adrian. His project management and workmanship is to the highest standard. He is clean, tidy and always forward planning to avoid foreseen problems. Adrian is now at the point where he is confidently able to install wet rooms, let alone bathrooms. We receive letters or phone calls almost every week from our clients stating how happy they are with Adrian's project management, workmanship and continued communication. They tell us he is a joy to have in their homes! We cannot praise Adrian up enough; he is a credit to our company.”

About Apprentice of the Month
The FMB believes firmly in supporting businesses that invest in the future workforce by taking on and training apprentices. After all, history has shown that businesses that continue to train through the good times and the bad survive and thrive. As well as helping to ensure a successful and prosperous future for the construction industry, apprenticeships provide valuable employment opportunities for young people.
Thanks to the support of our partner organisations, the FMB has already helped to highlight the importance of apprenticeship training via the Master Builder of the Year Awards. In 2012, we have decided to go even further and launch the FMB Apprentice of the Month showcase in order to highlight the numerous practical benefits that hiring an apprentice can bring to a business and reward those businesses that support successful apprenticeships.
FMB Apprentice of the Month launched in February 2012, helping to mark National Apprenticeship Week. Once again, we are proud to be working with our partner organisation TradePoint, in recognition of our shared interest in the future of the construction industry.
How does it work?
FMB Apprentice of the Month in partnership with TradePoint will profile one talented apprentice and their employer every month. Each month an apprentice will be selected from an eye-catching entry amongst the nominations received for the FMB Apprentice of the Year 2013 Award. The selection will take place every month until the next Master Builder of the Year Awards ceremony in March 2013.
The apprentice and employer selected every month will each receive a TradePoint voucher worth £50 in recognition of their hard work!
Details of our Apprentice of the Month and their employer will also appear in our monthly Master Builder magazine.
