The Cross-Industry Construction Apprenticeship Task Force

The Cross-Industry Construction Apprenticeship Task Force (CCATF) was launched in December 2007 by the then Skills Minister, David Lammy MP, with the aim of reinstating the culture and ethos of apprenticeship training in the construction industry. Its membership is comprised of representatives from all areas of the UK construction industry, from major contractors and the unions, to SMEs, representative bodies and Government Departments. The CCATF has become a major skills policy shaper since its formation and it is chaired by Geoff Lister, former FMB National President.
