Environmental and Site Waste Management Training

07/12/2011 - 22/02/2012 Jordanstown Constructing Excellence is running a free training programme for building contractors on Environmental and Site Waste Management Systems. The EMS/SWMP Training Programme is funded by DoE Rethink Waste and will be run in partnership with WRAP NI. It will enable local contractors to implement and operate a certifiable Environmental Management System (EMS) and Waste Management System so that they can reduce construction site waste and ensure compliance with forthcoming construction site waste legislation. The training programme consists of 4 workshops. Please see the attached flyer for further information.

Passive House Planning Package (PHPP) Workshop

It has proven itself over many years as a reliable and accurate instrument for energy balance calculations and for the implementation of design changes in order to improve these energy balances on domestic and commercial buildings. FREE Common Hazards/Hi 5 Safety and Health Awareness Day

The aim is not only to raise awareness of key health and safety issues facing the construction industry specific to your trade, but also to give practical advice on how to avoid risks on construction sites. Most demonstrations are outside so wear warm/waterproof clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather.
