07/12/2011 - 22/02/2012 Jordanstown Constructing Excellence is running a free training programme for building contractors on Environmental and Site Waste Management Systems. The EMS/SWMP Training Programme is funded by DoE Rethink Waste and will be run in partnership with WRAP NI. It will enable local contractors to implement and operate a certifiable Environmental Management System (EMS) and Waste Management System so that they can reduce construction site waste and ensure compliance with forthcoming construction site waste legislation. Most demonstrations are outside so wear warm/waterproof clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather.
