Half Day UKATA Asbestos Awareness Course

Description

Specifically for FMB members

Topics to be covered include –

• What is asbestos
• Where is asbestos used
• Why was asbestos used
• Hazards/risks of exposure
• Practical identification of potential asbestos containing materials (ACMs)
• Precautions you can take to avoid/reduce the risks

Plus
• Understanding of the requirements to work safely and comply with relevant health and safety legislation including the NEW Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 which include a duty of care in respect of Notifiable Non Licensed Work

This course is certified by UKATA (United Kingdom Asbestos Training Association) and attendees will receive a certificate following successful completion of a multi choice quiz at the end of the course.
