Who would believe that this comfortable home was formerly a slaughterhouse! The renovation work was carried out to a very high standard and perfectly compliments the period building. Outside, the Grade II listed property, built of ashlar and brick with a clay peg tiled roof, retains its original appearance. Inside, however the property has been transformed to house two bedrooms, a large country-style kitchen-dining room and a delightful sitting room, complete with exposed roof beams and ashlar walls, and magnificent views across the surrounding countryside.
The preliminary plans and specification were drawn up by an architect and surveyor, but from there the builder, undertook every aspect of the project, including modifying the design, liaising with planning officers, building inspectors and listed building officials.
