This unusual renovation project used a period barn to extend the living accommodation of an existing house. The ground floor was transformed into a library with a gallery walkway and two ensuite bedrooms upstairs. The barn's vaulted roof and sturdy beams are a major element of the interior design, and a new fireplace with wood burning stove adds to the character. Builder, Robin Muller went to considerable lengths to find materials that were compatible with the original building.
