The FMB sets high standards that builders must meet in order to become members, so we take any complaint that a builder is using our logo without permission very seriously. If you believe a builder is not a member and is using our logo under false pretences, the first thing to do is check whether the firm really is in the FMB by visiting

If you can find no record of the builder being a current member of the FMB, then we would be very grateful if you could alert us to the fact by completing this form. The FMB will then look into the matter further; please be aware that you may be contacted to provide documentary evidence to substantiate your claim. In certain cases we may refer the investigation on to the local Trading Standards Authority for enforcement assistance.
