A bad debt is always a blow and for a busy small builder the length of time that's inevitably spent chasing payment can be detrimental for business.
Don’t give up your right to recover money owed as the FMB has negotiated services to help members in those difficult times when they may be faced with bad debt.
Members need to
login to access free advice and assistance available to help them recover debts owed.
If the debt is a result of a dispute over workmanship, then the FMB Dispute Resolution Department is happy to advise you on the procedure to follow to resolve this dispute.
