Employment Contract

An employment contract is an agreement between an employer and an employee which sets out their employment rights, responsibilities and duties.

 

You are in beach of the law if you do not issue your staff with a written statement of terms and conditions of Employment.

 

This Disciplinary and Grievance Procedure is suitable for use in England, Scotland and Wales, for procedures started after 5th April 2009.

 

Northern Ireland has its own separate dispute resolution procedure, further information is available from the Labour Relations Agency (Equivalent of ACAS in NI).
