Richard Hyslop, FMB Public Affairs Manager wrote to the Prime Minister on behalf of members outlining the FMB 'Building A Greener Britain' campaign. Here is the Prime Minister's reply in full. Encouragingly, he refers to the 'positive and pro-active work being undertaken by the FMB'. This endorsement is obviously very helpful in building FMB's reputation and influence.
The FMB's, "Building a Greener Britain" policy conference will be taking place on the 9th July. Speaking at the conference will be a number of key politicians including Caroline Flint MP, Minister for Housing and Grant Shapps MP, Shadow Housing Minister. Gavin Killip and Dr Nick Eyre from the Low Carbon Futures Team at the Oxford University Environmental Change Institute, who have been leading the FMB's research on Building a Greener Britain, will outline their research findings at the conference.
