The search for the Master Builder of the Year 2008 is underway. Supported again by Nissan, these annual awards demonstrate to the public the outstanding work carried out by professional builders in the UK every day.

 

The awards will be presented by Naomi Cleaver at a glittering ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Thursday 13th November 2008, but there's more to a Master Builder of the Year award than a day of glitz and glamour – it puts the spotlight on your business. In the last few issues of Master Builder magazine, we have brought you the stories of some of the 2007 Master Builder of the Year award category winners, each one of them has said that winning the award had a positive effect on their businesses.

 

Naomi Cleaver presents awards

Naomi Cleaver is the new face of the 2008 Master Builder of the Year awards. She is perhaps best known as presenter of popular prime-time series on domestic design and decoration for Channel 4. Her credits include Other Peoples Houses, Britain's Best Home and Honey, I Ruined the House.

 

She is a design consultant and interior designer renowned for a fresh, intelligent and thought provoking approach, Naomi also writes and speaks widely on the subject of design, architecture and decor, writing for publications from The Daily Telegraph to Homebuilding and Renovating Magazine, Country Life and 4homes magazine.

The overall winner this year will again win up to £20,000 to spend on a Nissan LCV of their choice, the winner’s client will win a £3,000 holiday and all category winners will receive luxury breaks for two at one of the Barcelo Hotels & Resorts (formerly the Paramount Group of hotels).
