FMB 2008 National Conference

FMB 2008 National Conference 11 to 14 September

FMB 2008 National Conference
The National Conference this year will take place over a long weekend in September at the four star Crewe Hall Hotel, Crewe, Cheshire. Put a note in your diary now!

Chosen for this year’s conference, the Crewe Hall Hotel is set in eight acres of parkland in the south Cheshire countryside. It was built between 1615 and 1636 by Ranulph Crewe and remained in the Crewe family until the Marquis of Crewe sold the property (much changed by this time) in 1936 to the Duchy of Lancaster.

A mixture of business and pleasure

Crewe Hall Hotel
Crewe Hall became a hotel at the turn of the century, and more recently, massive investment has been made to provide exceptional conference and leisure facilities. Rather than trying to make the conference area resemble the original building - which would have been nigh on impossible - a bold, modern approach was taken resulting in a start-of-the-art business centre, ideal for conference delegates.

The Hall itself is an exquisite Grade I listed building featuring richly designed ceilings, opulent marble fireplaces, magnificent paneling, stained glass decoration and a staircase regarded as one of the finest specimens of Elizabethan architecture. The magnificent public areas and banqueting rooms exude the best mid – Victorian luxury.

As you would expect, Crewe Hall Hotel also has its own tennis courts, the Reflections Health, Fitness & Spa facility offering a luxurious atmosphere for relaxation, and should you need one, its own private football ground.

How to get there
