You are such a talented group of builders. I knew that anyway, but recently, I have been lucky enough to see some photographs of the projects entered into the 2010 Master Builder of the Year Awards.

I know we say each year that the standard of entries has rocketed, but some of this year’s projects have blown me away. The closing date for entries was 31 August and since then, the FMB Regional Directors have been visiting their short-listed projects to take extra photographs which will be submitted with the entry forms to the judging panel in January... At the 2010 National Conference, held last month in York, Derek Bostock became the new FMB National President.

Taking over from Ron Storer, Derek will hold this post for two years and he will be supported by two Vice-Presidents, Jim Gilmour (FMB Scotland) and Neal Etchells (FMB London)... More

All too often these days, people are quick to criticise but hardly anybody puts pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) to give credit where credit is due.
