To celebrate ten years of showcasing the very best in construction, the FMB is working with celebrity property guru Phil Spencer, to find Britain’s best builder, in a competition that aims to raise the standard of British building, in innovation, client service, skills and sustainability.
The awards are designed to reward builders and their clients, so if you become the Master Builder of the Year, you will win a Nissan Light Commercial Vehicle of your choice worth up to £20,000 and your client will enjoy a £3,000 holiday.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to have seen some incredible building projects in my time, as well as some fairly ordinary ones. That’s why I am delighted to be working with the FMB in a bid to help inspire tradesmen as well as the public to build a
better Britain,” said Phil Spencer, the presenter of C4 ‘Location, Location, Location’ and ‘Relocation, Relocation.’

If you are proud of some of the projects you have completed SINCE JULY 2008 or have one that is nearing completion that you feel deserves consideration, then make sure you enter this year’s awards. And don’t forget – you can enter more than one category.
But hurry up – the deadline for entries is 31 August 2010.
