GETTING YOU ON 100,000 UK KITCHEN TABLES!

Make Mine A Builders Tea

The FMB has launched a £10,000 promotion with the ‘Make Mine a Builders’ tea, to put FMB members on more than 100,000 kitchen tables throughout the UK!

There’s no denying it - where there’s a builder, there’s nearly always tea. In fact you could be drinking one now as you read this article.

The FMB promotes its members to consumers in many effective ways but this promotion really takes (or dunks?) the biscuit. By teaming up with ‘Make Mine a Builders’ the FMB is on the hunt for the most deserving person or community group to win a £10,000 building rescue which will be carried out by an FMB member.

Special promotional packs of Make Mine a Builders are now on sale nationally at Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Ocado and in selected Tesco and Asda stores. All 100,000 packs are branded with the FMB logo along with details of this exceptional search for a building in need of rescue.

Make Mine a Builders drinkers are encouraged to whack on the kettle and think of a building in need or an individual, club or group who would benefit from £10,000 worth of building work.

PROMOTING FMB MEMBERS

The FMB works hard to promote its members to consumers and by using eye catching and relevant marketing initiatives like this one, it constantly puts you in front of a new pool of consumers.

We are very excited about this tremendous opportunity to promote FMB members to consumers. As well as the promotional packs in stores we will also put the story on our monthly consumer ezine, right up until the July closing date. Our ezine goes out to around to over 30,000 consumers on our mailing list every month. If you want to see the December 2011 edition where we launched the search, visit:  www.fmb.org.uk/information-and-help/publications/ezine

They can then nominate a person or community group who they think could have their lives significantly changed by having a building makeover. Then next summer, judges from the FMB will pick the most deserving entry and send an FMB builder to transform the building – and potentially the winner’s life!

All the entry details are on the packets of tea, but anyone can make a nomination, simply explaining why they feel the building rescue is deserved and what needs repairing or renovating, including (very importantly) the building’s address.

Nominations can be submitted online at www.makemineabuilders.com/rescue or by post to:
Make Mine a Builders, PO Box 277, Guiseley, Leeds SL19 9BT (the closing date for nominations is 16 July 2012).
