The Working Well Together – Anglia annual Construction Safety and Health Awareness Day 2009 will be held at Trinity Park, Felixstowe Road, Ipswich IP3 8UH on Thursday 9 July.
The event will give practical, hands-on advice on the topics that will help keep sites safe and healthy: Tidy sites and decent welfare, falls from height, manual handling, transport and asbestos.
Everyone who attends the SHAD will also be offered FREE training at a Risk Assessment Workshop and will be able to gain a Level 2 Qualification in Risk Assessment. You will also receive a free DVD containing toolbox talks relating to the construction industry.
This event is mainly aimed at small/medium sized construction companies but would still be relevant to larger companies. If you use sub-contractors please invite them along to this event too.
