AEC Building Services is a family business established since 1990. We undertake the complete building package for the home owner, commercial client or self builder.

Whether you require your project to be built from traditional or modern materials we are prepared to undertake your building requirements.

We cover a geographical area 15 miles of Chesterfield.

Together with our architect we can bring your initial ideas to the drawing board. Deal with planning & building notice applications and issues with plenty of advice along the way.

Case Study 1

1930's style first floor & integral double garage extension.

The brief here was to construct a two bedroom first floor with integral double garage & ground floor guest room with en-suite.

The clients brief for the exterior to be designed & constructed with the original 1930s style to flow through to the new extension. We did this by demolishing an existing garage on site. Reclaiming the roof tiles & bricks meant we could detail the soldier & creasing courses above the garage doors & windows to match the existing property. Infact with the pebble dashing being a perfect match too you can hardly tell the difference.

Case Study 2

Lean to & mono pitch ground floor stone & slate extension.

This extension gives an example of our workmanship with stone. The construction was a bit of a challenge because we discovered a suspected mine shaft while excavating the foundations. Our project managing and experience helped the client to continue with the project.

We discovered a supplier of the stone that enabled us to build the extension to match the 80 to 100 year old existing house stone. Apart from eighty or so years of weathering.
