Case Study 1

Tudor Barn

We have extended this refurbished 15th century tudor barn by building a Sun Room on the side.

This Large Sun Room has been built to merge with the existing property. By using the same materials and detailing as the current house, we have been able to re-create the old rustic look which is in keeping with this property.

Inside, we have exposed the roof rafters which has increased the space of this room and continued the barn theme.

Made to measure oak doors and windows have been installed, together with modern fittings and finish gives this Sun Room a barn conversion feel.

Kitchen and Dining Room Extension

This project was to extend an existing kitchen and dining room. Tri-fold doors were installed in the dining room and all brickwork was toothed into the existing house so the extension looks seamless.

Two Velux roof windows have been installed in the roof to increase the ammount of light in both the kitchen and dining room areas.

On the inside, two steel beams were installed and cut into each wall so that the area could remain square, allowing for the kitchen cupboards and granite worktops to flow around the room.

Travertine tiles have been laid on the floor and chrome down lights have been installed to give a clean feel which compliments the newly installed kitchen.
