Case Study 1

Cliff View - Award Winning Home

Cliff View was part of our 2-home-development in Helsby with planning permission and architects drawings in place. However CB Homes was approached by the current owner at a very early stage in the build process. The current owner was therefore able to have as much input as possible. We successfully obtained planning permission to accommodate their wish of having the sun-room moved and the dinning enlarged. They had full choice with regards to the heating and all the interior fittings including having the house networked throughout for sound vision and computers. Cliff View is a fine example of CB Homes working in partnership with their clients - be it on a development or their self-build.

Case Study 2

Brook Barns

CB Homes approached this conversion very much wanting to maintain its historical and rural integrity. To achieve this the original timber beams which date back to the 18th century were carefully removed treated and placed back into their original positions. Although not load bearing any more they still are an integral part of this beautiful barn. CB Homes applied the same care and attention to the existing late Victorian brickwork. Many of the original bricks were removed cleaned and successfully returned. Thanks to a thoughtful design all of the original arches and barn entrances were lovingly incorporated and are now an integral part of Brook Barns. At every step of the way CB Homes felt that it was important to ensure traditional and historic Cheshire values were maintained without compromising on style and comfort. This attention to detail makes this development such a success.
