Cordery Build Ltd are specialists in refurbishment fitting out and shopfitting projects throughout the UK. With workshops in the south-west of England and offices ideally situated in Surrey near to London they can offer such services to UK and European businesses and their professional advisers.
Founded in 1993 the company has extensive experience in working with local and national clients on all construction activities and has been involved in many national roll-out programmes with clients such as Pizza Hut Wine Rack Evans Cycles and Costa Coffee.
The business prides itself on delivering projects on time and budget to a high standard. To maintain the standards the company directly employs over 25 staff and subcontracts only specialist trades such as plumbing heating and electrical works. Such specialist sub-contractors are carefully vetted and work in widely-admired partnering arrangements.
Originally established by Kevin Cordery and Colin Walker to offer a niche Design and Build construction service for SME companies the business now carries out a broad spectrum of construction works under a range of contractual arrangements. These include Design and Build partnering and traditional JCT forms. Following a management buy-in in February 2008 the current joint managing directors are David Leslie and Stuart Armstrong whose plans include an expansion of activities internationally.
The company has its Head Office at Bramley near Guildford and a freehold joinery workshop at Hemyock in East Devon. Head office staff includes specialist shopfitting and building contract managers building and quantity surveyors and contract planners together with administration and accounting personnel.
