DN Spencer & Son Ltd are probably the oldest building company in Kettering having been started when Des returned from the second world war. The company was registered as a 'Limited' company in 1961.
There is a Joinery workshop for all made to measure wood work, including stairs, windows, doors, counters, etc. etc.
There is also a Gas Safe registered plumbing and heating department.
In addition there is a department that specialises in the installation of Level Access Showers for the less able.
The core business is general building, of any type - extensions, alterations, refurbishment, conversion and maintenance, and to any degree from say fitting a door handle to building a new house or factory. The client base is huge and includes private individuals, Local Authorities, Architects, Surveyors, shops, factories, offices, blue chip companies, breweries, churches and Doctors surgeries. Our doors are open to everyone !
Our tradesmen are all employed ‘on the books’. We do not subcontract works.
