Case Study 1

New build extension, Debenham

This was a blockwork cavity wall construction with a three coat render finish, almost doubling the size of the existing house and adding a double garage.

There was also a substantial amount of hard landscaping including a fifteen metre long retaining wall and eighty square metre patio.

Case Study 2

Timber frame extension to grade II listed cottage

The existing kitchen and bathroom single storey lean-to had to first be demolished before the steel reinforced raft foundation was put in for the new timber frame - the concrete being pumped in by boom over the top of the existing cottage.

Access was very limited, a 1.2m wide path inbetween the house and next door, calling for detailed logistical planning both for materials in and waste out.

All windows are conservation approved and the finish will be a three coat render.
