G.H.Chambers & Son

was established in 1881 and is one of Workington’s longest trading family firms. We operate from the head office at Clay Flatts in Workington. Our family first opened a joinery workshop in Workington in 1881 and since that time we have developed a wealth of experience in specialist joinery manufacture whilst diversifying our business to offer a range of complementary services and products.

The company trades as CHAMBERS joinery based at Clay Flatts where the joinery and building services are managed. The company showroom trading as CHAMBERS homecentre is located on Oxford St. You can call in to see our wide range of products from kitchens bedrooms flooring sliding wardrobes and furniture.

From minor repairs to full refurbishment both domestic and commercial we pride ourselves in always carrying out the work to the highest standard and regularly get positive feedback for our approach to care and detail. This is made possible by a company culture founded on the ethos of taking pride in your work which is instilled throughout the workforce.
