Faced with a very daunting problem with building regulations and some major remedial work needed to obtain a completion certificate for a small extension, I was really fortunate to come across GMB Projects on the FMB website. Domenic Santacaterina and his partner Neil approached the problem in a totally professional, calm, transparent and honest way, working closely with the Building Control office to determine a cost-effective solution that met all the requirements to allow the buildings inspectors to finally issue the certificate. Having been let down very badly by the original builders, Domenic and Neil totally restored my faith in the building profession. They did a really fantastic job, it was all done within promised timescales and budget and it was finished to an extremely high standard. Domenic kept me completely updated as the work progressed and would always ring and let me know that each stage had been completed satisfactorily. Overall, I would highly recommend GMB Projects, they are an exceptionally honest and reliable company, with the highest of professional standards.

First floor extenssion with new en-suite and refurbished main bathroom

This first floor extension was completed in March 2011, which included a new en-suite shower, the refurbishment of the family bathroom, formation of a small study and a new porch at ground level.

Case Study 2

Multiple works inc. structural alterations, new kitchen, bamboo flooring, downstairs WC.

This project was completed in the spring of 2011, which included the removal of a brick wall to open up the kitchen, removal of a side porch and blocking up of an external door, re-shaping of a stud wall and fitting of internal french doors, building of customised understairs cupboard, plumbing in a WC, sink and radiator under the stairs with building control approval, fitting of a new howdens kitchen with bamboo top, fitting of a bamboo floor and skirting throughout on the ground floor.
