Loft Conversion
A typical large bungalow with a spacious Lounge and Kitchen, yet only two bedrooms.
Our Customer loves the Village in which they live, so decided to commission ourselves to produce their drawings for submission to Planning.
Importantly we believe any conversion should appear as if it were original and not an add on. Thus our challenge was how do we place a new staircase without loosing too much ground floor space, especially within the existing bedrooms.
Having located the best position for the staircase we needed to ensure we could fit a large double bedroom, single bedroom/walk in wardrobe, landing study and bathroom - all of which we achieved.
Importantly whilst carrying out a conversion whilst occupied - is safety, something we take very seriously.
We also strive to ensure there is limited disruption to our Customers daily life - even though their house can sometimes be turned upside down.
Where possible we contain works within temporary partitions to limit noise, dust, tools and work men disrupting our customers.
With this in mind we contained works to the loft area with a ground floor hoarding enclosing all works, with a door leading to the existing porch.
Works were a complete success with our customer posting a glowing reference on our website.
