Helm was appointed as main contractor to construct 4 new two double bedroom apartments. Each apartment is approximately 80sq m in size.

Helm undertook the complete CDM (Construction Design and Management) function for the client. Initial brief to completed build took 9 months which included seeing the project through the planning application obtaining building regulations and getting both local authority and warranty provider sign off.

22 of the Helm team were involved from initial groundwork's to decorative finish. The client had included an abundance of high specifications including under floor heating solar assisted hot water a full interactive electrical appliance control system and fully fitted (integrated appliances etc) contemporary kitchen.

The client has planned two more projects for 2009 both of which have been awarded to Helm.

Our client required us to build a large extension to the side and rear of his existing property.

An architect had already been appointed who had seen the project through the planning application and building regulation process.

Helm was appointed as main contractor to construct the two storey extension which had a ground floor area of 38 sq m. The development included enlarging the existing kitchen and dining rooms creating a new living space converting the existing living space into a large study and cloakroom and creating two double bedrooms with en-suites to both on the first floor.

Helm undertook the complete construction and Management function for the client liaising with the building control officer architect and structural engineer on their behalf. The project was completed in 14 weeks from first dig to final decoration.

12 of the Helm team were involved. We assisted the client further by providing them with access to our suppliers for kitchens and bathrooms enabling them to benefit from our negotiated discounts and pricing structure.
