My name is John Gallacher and I am the proprietor of James McGurnaghan. We are slaters, plasterers and general builders. Our work ranges in size from small repair and maintenance to full re-roofing and conversions and extensions. We are a family business that was established in 1937. I have been proprietor since 1989. Although we are based in Glasgow, the area we cover extends from Helensburgh to Hamilton and Stirling to Kilmarnock.

Regards

JOHN GALLACHER

Case Study 1

Roof and lead work

The valley gutter was covered in a bitumen felt. The felt had crached and split in various places. We replaced it with a Code 6 lead flashing.

Case Study 2

linostone

There was an enclosed stairway, leading to an upstairs convertion, which was removed. We rendered over the blocked up window and then applied the Linostone coating to match the existing stone work.
