Member Profile

Jo Simon Homes is an Interiors Company based in Yorkshire covering Yorkshire, Lancashire and Richmond, London. We undertake full refurbishemnts of properties including roofing, joinery, loft conversions, removing/installing of walls and doorways, heating & plumbing, shop fitting, suspended ceiling installation, electrical and kitchen/bathroom design and installations. We are joinery based with our own workshop and manufacture doors, windows and staircases bespoke for our own projects.

We have the infrastructure to handle multi-trade projects.

All our men are qualified in their respective discipline and we have a number of glowing testimonials from satisfied clients which we are very proud of.

The company was formed 5 years ago by Trish Nuttall who has a 22 year commercial construction background.

Case Study 1

Loft Conversion Urmston, Manchester

Jo Simon completed a lovely loft conversion at Urmston, Manchester in a semi-detached dating from around 1940. We installed steelwork, insulation, plasterboarding, plastering etc to form the loft; we and fitted the staircase which was manufactured inhouse in our joinery workshop and installed this on the existing first floor landing. Our client was delighted with the finished product which was to be a bedroom for her adult son. We received excellent feedback on our first project under Trafford Council, as to the quality of the work, attention to some exacting technical detail and the overall finish on the project.

Case Study 2

Full refurbishment of a large 4 storey terraced property, London

We completed a 3month project in Richmond, London which involved stripping the concrete roof tiles off, replacing with Welsh Blue Slate; designing and fitting 3 new stunning bathrooms with all associated tiling; supply & installation of commercial grade central heating system including pressurised cylinder; complete re-wiring of the propert; small demolition work and period restoration work to several area; renewing of roof timber, Velux installation etc; knocking down walls/blocking up doorways; manufacturing of timber doors, French Windows, Sash windows etc in period style but double glaxed.

All our staff worked away from home, working long days to reduce accomodation costs to the client. We overcame parking/delivery/logistical hurdles to complete the job on time, on budget and to our clients full satisfaction.
