Case Study 1

New Build

Four bedroom traditional new build with oak and stone structure.

Kim M. Lewis team undertook and managed all phases of this project back in 2005. In just five months we achieved completion of this contract from drawing to handover.

Due to tight planning rules the whole project from the start had to be overseen by different authorities. Soakaways & waste system had to be collected due to a small stream running along the property.

We installed cottage style windows and a shallow pitch on the roof to lessen the overall impact to the surrounding countryside .

Case Study 2

Renovation

Removal of old utility room and erection of an extension complementing the existing building.

We completed this project in nine weeks due to the extreme weather conditions and the difficult access to the property.

In normal circumstances we would have completed it in about 6 to 7 weeks. We overcome all life's problems.

The underfloor heating on this project was electric rather than water. According to the client who has both types installed the electric in her opinion is much better becomes warmer quicker therefore does not need to stay on so long making it more efficient.
