Case Study 1

Replacement extension and refurbishments

On this project costing in th region of £ 160k we demolished a poor quality flat roof extension and replaced it with something much larger & more sympathetic.

The whole area had to be dug down by 1.2 metres and retaining walls built to form the sunken courtyard and curved steps to the garden.

We also refurbished the existing cottage including converting a bedroom into a luxury en-suite bathroom complete new heating system and a new fireplace with a hand carved mantle and white render reveals.

Case Study 2

Garage & annex extension On this project costing in the region of Â£140k we demolished the existing courtyard walls dug new foundations and rebuilt a cavity wall to form a new double garage / party room complete with disco socket and lighting. On the first floor the original plan was to extend the original annex however as the client used it for holiday lets we suggested he created a seperate self contained one bedroom annex but still linked to the existing annex to give him a more flexible letting opportunity. As with most of of projects we made suggestions to improve the design & finish to suit our client as we went on and organised everything down to hanging the pictures on the wall.
