We are an official "Nolte" kitchen showroom and dealer, working directly with the Nolte factory in Germany. We also import and sell cast iron, freestanding "Bateau Baths".  We specialise in these baths and have seven on display in our showroom. We have the lowest prices in London: at least 10% lower than any other shop, on average 35% and up to a maximum of 50% lower.

Area of operation: Highgate/Muswell Hill/Hampstead/Finchley, Barnet, Islingon, Camden, central London.

Case Study 1

Bathrooms using natural stone

We design and fit many bathrooms and wetrooms using natural stone (limestone travertine marble and slate). In the first image (in Barnsbury/Islington) there is a bespoke wall-hung vanity unit made by us to ensure a good fit; limestone 400x400 on the floor and walls; a matching limestone countertop; twin vessel basins and twin tower mixers; wall-hung toilet and bidet.

The second image (in Canonbury/Islington) shows a wetroom with a drain in the marble floor. The entire floor and adjacent walls are lined with a proprietory wetroom system which ensures it remains watertight even if there is slight movement of the wooden joists (which is normal in 19th century houses in this part of London). The rear wall is fitted with riven slate. The glass panel is recessed into the floor and wall with no visible trim. It is also special ""low iron"" glass which appears clearer and less green than standard glass. Both shower mixers are fully recessed as is our normal practice with diverters giving each shower both a fixed overhead outlet and a hand-shower on flexible hose. Of particular note in our wetrooms is the entire bathroom floor being on one level: there is no step up into the shower or wet area.

Case Study 2

Kitchen built in shelving flooring and more

This job consisted of a lower ground floor in a large family house in Barnsbury/Islington. After sorting out several different damp issues and the heating we constructed a lacquer kitchen (high gloss white) with stainless steel worktop designed for a recessed/flush fit hob and integrated sink with flush drainer. Of particular note is the splashback: it is marble with a 15cm deep matching marble shelf above backlit from below: the light illuminates the marble but there is no shadow from any fittings or supports! The second run of kitchen units has an oak worktop (wide stave single plank almost 3m long). We also made a new ceiling new lighting and replaced the traditonal door to the utility room with a frameless flush-fitting glass door.

The second image is part of the same job. We made the shelving units with drawers below a countertop and skimmed plaster wall and shelving above. The skimmed plaster shelves have recessed lighting. In the centre is a fitted plasma TV with control boxes in the drawer below (with hinged drawer front to enable remote handsets to control the TV Blu-Ray etc). All cables are concealed. Ventilaton was also built into the rear wall to enable the TV and other electronics to function properly.
