Kuno has been working in the construction industry for over 30 years. Initially as a highly regarded bricklayer, who quickly progressed to Contracts Manager for the UCS group and later as a Contract Director for a small building company. "Kuno Jackson Building Contractors" were formed in 2002 and carry out a wide range of quality projects including new builds, extensions, conversations and commercial work. The company offers a customer focused service as well as competitive pricing. Kuno was nominated for "Master Builder of the Year" and "Heavenly Builder" in 2010.

In 2012, Kuno Jackson Building Contractor was chosen as the Regional Winner of the Small Renovation Projects and is now through to the National Finals in London on 20 March 2013.

COTTAGE RENOVATION - HOWELL

We chose KJB following recommendations from previous clients of his. Our initial request was for an opinion on a property we were considering as a renovation project. Kuno generously advised us through the purchase and was ultimately commissioned to undertake the renovation.

We were, and still are, very happy with the standard of, not only the building work, but that of all the other contractors appointed by Kuno in his position as our project manager. Not that his input stopped there, he also gave sound advice regarding the design aspects of the renovation, taught us how to undertake some of the more simple tasks ourselves, acted as counsellor during some of the more stressful times and has continued to generously give advice and support well after completion of his part of the process.

We feel very fortunate to have appointed Kuno as our builder and have given him our personal recommendation on numerous occasions over the last two years.

Renovation of Bungalow

We met Kuno through Sleaford Golf Club and we had been told he was a good builder. We were pleased when he came to look at our potential extension. Due to his wealth of building experience we felt at ease and he helped us find a good architect and assisted us with the planning process. We had a garage/workshop built first – so that we had plenty of storage for the building materials.

The original bungalow was a boring 1960’s build and when we asked if we could have a vaulted ceiling in the extension – Kuno said we could have whatever we wanted! Although the extension is one end of the bungalow – you would never know. The whole property has had new windows, doors, was re-roofed, re-bricked and now has lovely golden brickwork.

When we pull into our driveway and look at the bungalow – we know why we asked Kuno to do the work for us and would certainly recommend him to others
