Case Study 1

Commercial Unit & Offices

This business client distributes specialist medical devices. They were referred to us by one of their employees whom we had helped in the past.

The business, which is located in a rural area, was expanding and they were looking to relocate to a larger property to accommodate their needs. They had found a property which was an old barn on a newly established rural business park that was still under development. They asked us to convert the barn into a commercial unit that would provide warehouse and office space for the business.

After the conversion from a barn, M & R were also asked to carry out the 2nd (internal) phase. The client asked us to partition off the warehouse section and to construct complete office facilities which comprised of a ground floor large reception area, a fitted kitchen area and also toilet facilities.  And to construct an upper level complete with a large board room and individual offices.

These clients are highly valued and have continued to supply us with work till this day.

Window Restoration

This client contacted us in search of a professional with experience in restoring Grade II listed properties. Having had a number of other companies advise that the windows were beyond repair and would have to be replaced (which would cost them in excess of £7,000) they were delighted to hear that we could carry out the repairs necessary to restore the windows to their former glory without compromising the style and architectural detail of these beautiful period windows.

The windows with ornate fluted columns were in a terrible state of decay having rotted away over many years. We carefully removed all of the affected areas and restored each section to as good as new at a fraction of the cost the clients were worried they would have to pay.
