Monarch Builders have been building extensions for over ten years now. The majority of our work comes from recommendation and the majority of our customers actually know each other.

We carry out all types of building work and maintenance but have specialised in domestic extensions in the Northwest the majority of which have been in Cheshire although we are happy to work anywhere in the region.

We provide a professional and friendly service which makes a usually stressful process as relaxed as possible.

We work with a number of excellent architects in various areas who we would happily put you in contact with.

Case Study 1

Holes Lane This project was a small dining room extension to the rear of the property. The kitchen extension was already there so it was just a case of L shaped brickwork with traditional roof tied into the existing with a box gutter for which we used aluminium. It is one of my favourite projects because it is simple but elegant which is a credit to the architect.

Large projects

These are two of the larger projects we carried out last year.

The first consisted of removing the existing garage to the side of the property and building a two storey extesion in its place tied into the existing property and carrying over the existing entrance.

The second was a large single storey extension to the rear of the property with a traditional style extension incorporating an existing conservatory which was altered in to a summer room with a light well with the use of steel framework.
