Extension built onto a listed cottage.
I wanted to write to say how pleased we are with the completed extension and with the workmanship that went into this.
As you will know, it is always with some trepidation that when a client engages a builder to undertake work, because of the need for an effective and mutually beneficial relationship that needs to exist for the job to be completed efficiently and affectedly because that relationship can be difficult to achieve partially for a job that takes a number of month.
I have to say that I was always confident that we would achieve that effective relationship and that confidence was fully rewarded. Both you and Matthew showed every care and consideration that we could have expected, including providing us with temporary hot and cold water downstairs during the work to avoid us having to wash up in the bath!
Matthew brought a very good team with him and we were particularly impressed with Roy and Justin. Matthew supervised his team as well undertaking a number of tasks himself. The quality of workmanship and level of expertise were very high.
I was also delighted that the work was delivered to budget, taking account of costs that resulted from my decision to add certain items.
